Rubber Design specialises in anti-vibration technology. We combat vibration and noise problems by isolating the source of the disturbance. Rubber Design develops products for all types of ocean-going ships and boats using inland waterways: cargo boats and passenger ships, dredging vehicles, pusher tugs and tugboats, inspection vessels, pilot boats and patron vessels.

Anti-vibration mountings are used for, among other things, suspension of exhaust gas boilers and sound-absorbers and as passive insulation under deckhouses, accommodation areas and control cabines.

Rubber Design adapt the different components for a wide range of applications. We makes the vibration isolators, buffers and rubber metal connections for the flexible mounting of generator sets, refrigeration and emergency power supply generator sets and converters. For diesel-electric drives, gearboxes, pumps and wheel also supply the spring mounting components. Rubber Design has also the knowledge and in-house expertise needed for the flexible suspension of switchboards, ceilings, computer and measuring equipment and air conditioning.

Research & Development
Rubber Design has a special department dedicated to working on new material characteristics, particular attention is being given to the development of compounds. By adding new elements to formulas for base materials Rubber Design is continuously trying to comply with future market demands. By constantly integrating test findings in new designs Rubber Design can quickly provide an insight into the chances of success of a certain application.
