Our Markets

As a leading force in offering solutions for vibration and shock control related problems, Rubber Design develops products for all types of applications in the maritime sector. Our marine mountings are used by many engine manufacturers for the flexible support of main and auxiliary engines and generator sets to reduce structure born noise.

Shipyards world wide use our mountings for the flexible suspension of exhaust gas systems. A significant reduction in the radiated noise and vibration can be achieved by introducing rubber-metal elements between the exhaust system and the ship structure.

For navy ships we have designed special shock mounts to cope with the shock requirements according BV 043, BV 044, MIL-STD901D, STANAG 4142 and M.O.D. BR 3021.

For custom built mega yachts Rubber Design designs and produces water and oil lubricated propeller shaft installations, water and grease lubricated rudder stock installations, flexible couplings and thrust blocks.
